Today, technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and the internet of things (IoT) have established themselves as essential components of practically every industry. The range of applications for AI and IoT is as broad as the horizon and includes everything from healthcare to industry and agriculture. These technologies are currently widely employed in industrialised nations, while they are still in their infancy in emerging nations. The COVID-19 pandemic had a greater impact on these nations' economies and healthcare systems, making it more important than ever to embrace new approaches to problems with sustainable development.

Innovative artificial intelligence is added to existing blockchain technology to create smart blockchain, which gives a blockchain system high-level economy, adaptivity, and autonomy. Smart blockchain, in contrast to standard blockchain approaches, adds new features to blockchain systems using data mining, pattern recognition, machine learning, and deep learning on top of the existing blockchain technology, which has significant potential to help the current IoT systems.
